В статье процесс воспроизводства российского парка легковых автомобилей описывается рядом параметров с разной степенью детализации. С целью анализа возможных последствий для экономического роста и благосостояния рассматриваются не только показатели, характеризующие обеспеченность населения автомобилями и поставки, но и структурные параметры парка. С 2014 г. возрастная структура парка менялась в пользу более старых автомобилей: доля автомобилей старше десяти лет в 2024 г. достигла 71%. В базовом (инерционном) сценарии автомобилизации она может вырасти еще больше, что сопряжено с рисками незапланированного выхода автомобилей из строя и техногенных катастроф. В сценариях модернизации парка (в которых возрастная структура меняется в пользу автомобилей младше десяти лет) увеличиваются объемы поставок новых автомобилей. При целевых установках снижения доли импорта до показателей 2021 г. для модернизации парка легковых автомобилей может потребоваться объем внутреннего производства в 1,6 млн ед. – к 2030 г., 2,6 млн – к 2035 г. и 4,0 млн – к 2050 г., что создает необходимость расширения производственных мощностей в 1,7 раза, а также обеспечения возможностей платежеспособного спроса.
