Настроения инвесторов и динамика фондового рынка: пути к прогнозированию цен на акции

В статье анализируются поисковые запросы в российском и американском сегментах Google. Автор предлагает методику выбора и классификации поисковых запросов, отражающих настроения инвесторов, которые потенциально влияют на активность населения на финансовом рынке. В статье проводится расчет индексов настроений по США и России, демонстрирующих высокую корреляцию с национальными фондовыми индексами S&P500 и IMOEX. Автор резюмирует, что котировки финансового рынка могут определяться как индикаторы настроений инвесторов, которые в свою очередь формируются на основе комплекса факторов экономического и внеэкономического характера.
