Влияние институтов на инвестиционный спрос: межстрановый анализ

В статье на большой выборке стран анализируется механизм влияния качества экономических институтов на динамику инвестиционного спроса. С помощью динамических панельных данных для 161 страны мира в период с 2002 по 2022 гг. было показано, что чувствительность инвестиционного спроса к процентной ставке является функцией качества институтов (индикаторов «Верховенство закона» и «Качество регулирования»). Другими словами, эластичность инвестиций к процентной ставке снижается в условиях низкого качества институтов и повышается при высоком уровне развития институциональной среды. В условиях недостаточно развитой институциональной среды экономические агенты склонны откладывать инвестиционные решения на более длительный срок до получения дополнительной информации, снижения неопределенности, даже в условиях низких процентных ставок в экономике. Полученные выводы представляют практический интерес, поскольку обосновывают значимость поиска альтернативных подходов к формированию условий инвестирования при низком качестве институтов в стране, а также позволяют лучше понять механизм влияния условий институциональной среды на инвестиционный спрос.
